Your Role

We are looking to expand our HR team and hire a People Operations Specialist who will play a key role in supporting H55 continued growth through HR processes, policies and practices that will enable H55 to attract, develop, engage, leverage, and retain talent in highly competitive markets. We are searching for a smart, capable and hard-working professional who is keen to join in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Talent Recruitment /People Manager, you will play a key role in providing HR operations to support all the Employee Life Cycle to a population of approximately 80 People and growing fast.

Help us improve our People operation to deliver an outstanding employee experience from onboarding through to the entire employee lifecycle.

Specifically this includes:

  • Support in the recruitment activities: job posting, interview coordination and reference check
  • Support the contract creation and pre-boarding across all systems
  • Supervise the execution of all the formalities specific to personnel administration during the full employment lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding: relocation support, contracts, employment certificates and various ad-hoc requests, management of absences while ensuring compliance with labor law
  • Support employee lifecycle management processes such as joiners, leavers, absences, personal data changes and job changes.
  • Maintain data records updated in all HR systems : drive operational efficiency and data quality
  • Own resolution of employee queries, from contractual questions to ad hoc paperwork requests
  • Participate in the development and implementation of internal HR policies and procedures
  • Support to the accounting office in the payroll management and in producing pay slips and social declarations
  • Preparation and entry of variable pay elements in the software (Winbiz, Odoo).
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of the Competence Matrix and Skills Development Plan
  • Ensure exchanges with social organizations (insurance company, pension institutions) for all administrative procedures related to the HR function.
  • Participate in the implementation of HR tools/processes (hiring pack, onboarding, monitoring of trial periods, etc.)
  • Identify operational weaknesses, improve existing processes and support/manage projects on the development of new processes to keep the Team scale with growth on a global level
  • Perform regular analyses, reporting, and audits as required

Your profile and experience

  • 2 to 5 years of prior experience in HR Operations role at either a high-growth tech startup or a large, well-established company
  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, will be beneficial
  • HR certification or equivalent experience in of Swiss Labor law is a strong advantage
  • Experience in working in Engineering sector or a similar progressive industry is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal an written with ability to prepare reports and present information
  • Thrive in a fast past start-up environment
  • Autonomous and solution oriented
  • Excellent command of MS office
  • Experience in operating an ERP, implementation is a plus
  • Fluent in both French and English, any other language is a plus
