Part of Leonardo (through its Helicopter division), Kopter is set to become a Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies;
also contributing to the development of new hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. The single-engine, turbine-powered SH09 now under development will outperform its peers with increased modularity, modern electronic systems, and a larger cabin and cargo hold.
The SH09 delivers latest safety standards, more performance and comfort at low operating costs. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based near Zurich, Switzerland with corporate / engineering offices at Wetzikon, and the production facilities in the towns of Mollis and Näfels.
Kopter has an additional facility in Munich, Germany where the company is focusing on engineering and Research & Technology activities.
Responsible for the Rotorcraft sizing (limit) and operational load analyses to comply with TC
Assumes the responsibility for his task (sub-area)
Provides information up or down ->
information to the Team Leader / Chief Engineer Flight Physics
Is responsible for the aircraft level sizing loads specification / technical data
Elaboration, validation and justification of models / tools based on tests (bench, ground and flight) results
Development and execution of appropriate in-house rotorcraft load computation models for predicting sizing loads
Prepare analysis reports including interpretation of the analysis results, define any required testing with flight test team
Prepare compliance demonstration (Type Certification) documents
Collaborates actively on the project, among others, he gets / brings trans-sectoral knowledge and information
Maintains the legal aviation & safety requirements in his operations and implements them
Has common knowledge about quality management system (QMS) Tasks :
Model and in-house tool development
Flight test data model validation
Compliance demonstration with CS27
Degree in engineering Aerospace / Mechanical
Knowledge of rotorcraft sizing and operational loads, instrumentation, model validation
Good communication skills and experience in presenting results
B2 English level, both verbal and in writing
2 Years of relevant experience in rotorcraft loads analysis and model validation against flight test data
A working experience with Matlab, Flightlab or any other load prediction tools is desirable

CAD knowledge concerning handling and data structure
Aviation requirements : EASA Part-21, J & G knowledgeKnowledge about design release and change process of DO
