The Disease Management Partner is a field-based role with the responsibility to map, understand and accelerate the local patient journeys by identifying the key pain points that delay patients from appropriate care.
The Disease Management Partner identifies existing networks and sets up new networks and partnerships to drive service implementation, business interactions and solution concepts.
He / She plays a meaningful role for the partnership within the in-field team (Sales Representatives and Medical Scientific Liaisons), as well as in the co-creation of solutions to improve the patient journey together with the Disease Solution Manager and the Customer Solution Lead.
Your responsibilities will include :
Execute the patient journey acceleration strategy plan for the Country Pharma Organization (CPO) and co-create tactical plans, aligned with the CPO priorities and Business Franchise / brand strategies
Understand and map key partner needs and ensure that the patient journey acceleration strategy accommodates and manages market changes and customer needs.
Manage the local patient journeys for heart failure and migraine with a focus to identify the challenges, which delay the appropriate care or lead to suboptimal discharge management, in collaboration with the in-field team (Sales Representative and Medical Scientific Liaison)
Communicate these specific insights internally with Marketing, Sales, Medical, Disease Solution Manager and the Customer Solution Lead to shape and co-create the needed solutions
Identify and use existing networks and set up new local networks between primary care physicians and specialty care physicians, as well as with all relevant partners involved in the patient journey
Identify and manage new ways and solutions to accelerate the patient journey for a differentiated customer experience, in collaboration with the Disease Solution Manager and Product Manager
Implement innovative tools, services, projects and partnerships from the Disease Solution Manager and the Customer Solution Lead and support primary care physicians to identify the right patient profiles that could benefit by early referral to specialists
Business or Life Science degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline)
Experience in setting up (healthcare) networks and services
Previous customer facing experience
Swiss Pharma market experience is a plus
French and English : proficient written and spoken; German knowledge would be helpful
