Position Summary

As a Key Account Manager Horeca (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés), you will ensure the implementation of the national Key Account strategy defined by Nespresso Switzerland.

In this perspective, you will define and implement sales and marketing activities to achieve annual objectives on both customer acquisition, growth, and retention.

A day in the life of a Key Account Manager Horeca

  • Participate in market and customer size analyses and define opportunities for Key Accounts with Nespresso's support functions
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan to ensure sustainable acquisition and growth of key accounts
  • Negotiate national commercial agreements with the respective Horeca Key Accounts and act as a door opener for the regional account managers
  • Develop a comprehensive customer plan to drive the overall business and achieve profitable sales targets
  • Analyze and know the market, its evolutions and forecast future trends in collaboration with the local marketing team
  • Understand the customer and his guests, and integrate it into actions that enable growth and expansion
  • Ensure the consistency of the Nespresso brand and the consumer experience as well as a professional sales service in line with the Nespresso brand image
  • Optimize the presence and visibility of the brand and implement action plans such as training, public events, promotions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • What will make you successful

  • Degree in sales or similar degree of hotel schools
  • At least 3 years in a Horeca environment where you have successfully achieved the requested key performance indicators and consistently demonstrated success in exceeding targets
  • Experience in sales, key account management or business development of Horeca customers
  • High negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Charismatic with an excellent ability to respectfully drive and challenge different stakeholders
  • Strong analytical competencies
  • Proven track record in project management skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making mindset
  • English, German and French are a must
