Label Workflow Engineer
BSA - Bobst Mex SA
Product Line Narrow Mid Web is part of the Bobst Group and is working on the development and production of state-of-the-art digital printing machining for the label industry.
We are looking for a well-rounded Label Workflow Engineer with business, technical knowledge and deployment experience in the Digital Printing Industry to support us in our digital transformation journey :
Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy- Bobst - Narrow Mid Web, your mission will be the following :
You will work hand-in-hand with solution architects, implementation consultants and the customers themselves to build processes that are secure, reliable and efficient
You will interface closely with our customers' technical points of contact. Your insights and interaction with our customers will exert great influence on the functionality and design of the product.
Identify performance improvements in existing functionality and recommend enhancements
You will be responsible for creating a coherent methodology for efficient cross-functional teams collaboration, ensuring quality and on time execution
You will be acting as project manager to ensure timeline and quality are met
You will be responsible to write and maintain appropriate documentation
You will work closely with Marketing, R&D, Sales and Service organizations, helping with setting the priorities and the structure for decision making.
You will participate in several workflow forums
Experience / Education required :
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
At leaset 5 years prior experience in the Digital Printing Industry
3 years .NET development using C#
Prior experience deploying enterprise software systems in customer environments.
Experience with Web applications
Color Management basic understanding
Proficient with Microsoft Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office, and all forms of business electronic communications (email, text, social media, Internet conferencing, etc.
Familiarity with CRM software a plus
Skills and competences :
Ability to function independently and effectively in a high energy environment with frequent deadlines and changing expectations.
Ability to travel frequently and to work remotely when required
Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer interaction skills
Proficiency level in English, another language (French) is a plus

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
