The Head of Business Development Plastics represents the strategic business unit on the market and towards international sales, actively develops worldwide market for the strategic business area Plastics, and contributes to selling products from this business area.
In this central function at the headquarters in Winterthur (Switzerland), you will report to the Head of BU Plastics.
Market development of the strategic applications of the business unit with the sales organizations
Contribute to strategy definition and identification of strategic applications for the business area
Implementation of the business unit strategy together with the international Sales
Establishing and maintaining networks with decision-makers
Support of strategic key customers
Development and implementation of sales support measures for international sales
Monitoring of the Market, trends, and competition
Active cooperation in marketing campaigns and trade fair appearances as well as visits to trade fairs and exhibitions
Representation and presentation of the business field at congresses and public events
Willingness to global travel (20-40%)
Completed studies in the field of industrial-, or mechanical engineering (HTL, FH, ETH, or similar).
At least 5 years experience in product marketing and market development, and strategy development / deployment in an international / intercultural environment
Strong business acumen
Experience in production monitoring / automation, and process monitoring
Experience in plastics processing
Microsoft 365 applications, SAP an advantage
Advanced written and spoken German and English (C1), other languages an advantage
Proactive and communicative can-do and networking personality with a high level of drive
