We are looking for a highly motivated, performance-driven sales Account Manager to be part of DigiCert’s Emerging Technologies team.
Assigned to a set of existing accounts, the account manager will develop sales strategies to keep existing revenue and grow the existing customer base, through self-generated activities, visits, meetings, and customer marketing communications.
This role is key to increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating the entire sales cycle of business opportunities, from developing new opportunities, generating renewals quotes, qualifying the buying process and closing deals.
You will be tasked with the sale of a service to customers within a specific geographical region and set of accounts and demonstrate the ability to communicate our solution value proposition effectively.
You must be able to translate technical specifications into business benefits that resonate with different levels of IT Management, from IT Directors to PKI administrators, including Enterprise customers and Partners.
In order to be effective in this role, you need to show knowledge of your target audience, existing competitors and industry trends in order to come up with the data needed for a winning campaign.
You will also be expected to maintain a regular contact schedule with companies to resolve any problems that arise in the accounts and engage internally to deliver the best level of service to customers.
The job of an account manager involves both working inside and outside the office environment developing existing account renewals and sourcing potential customers and maximizing the sales of Emerging Technologies services.
High level of initiative and working well in a fast-pace team environment is key.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong bias for action, accountability, and drive to resolution with deep experience in solution selling.
Strong domain expertise in cybersecurity with an entrepreneurial orientation is essential. Candidates must have a strong track record of delivering against financial objectives.
This individual will source new sales opportunities, will self-generate leads will negotiate and close sales to achieve quotas.
