In this role, you will work within the Financial Crime Compliance Data Warehouse at Zürich Alstetten. As a developer, you will focus on the continuous development of a large DB2 database, based on an Informatica platform, which has been developed through a bespoke in-house data-sourcing framework.

This exciting role will put in an agile and dynamic environment, collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues from around the world.

  • Develop the Compliance Data warehouse end to end platform in collaboration with the business, data scientists, and quality assurance (QA) and user experience (UX) professionals
  • Share knowledge across the whole development community

  • Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a data warehouse engineer within the financial sector
  • 5+ years DB2 experience, if not another relational database such as Oracle
  • Experience with DB2 utilities (e.g. reorg / runstats / load) and query optimisation
  • Experience with temporal data management
  • 5+ years advanced SQL (including OLAP functions, CTEs, indexing and temporary tables)
  • Unix scripting experience
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
