Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lonza in Basel or Visp and to lead a team of Sales (SAP SD, LE) and CRM (SAP, Salesforce) specialists.

To act as IT delivery manager and business partner. Working closely with the Sales Teams as well as other Business stakeholders.

To oversee the implementation of IT business applications in the functional area of responsibility. To enforce standardization, harmonization, documentation and validation of deployed solutions.

The Opportunity

  • Lead a team of Sales and CRM specialists. Coach the supervised team members on a regular basis. Responsible for staff related activities such as recruitment, development, replacement, performance qualification and salary review.
  • Monitor and continuously improve the performance of the assigned team members

  • Act as delivery manager involving external parties and as business partner for internal stakeholders. Gather IT requirements to understand the business needs.
  • Inform, consult and advise IT solutions. Deal with escalations and manage the expectations.

  • Coordinate the implementation of new and rollout of existing IT business applications. Responsible as resource manager to staff IT projects.
  • Take accountability as steering group member in IT initiatives. Control knowhow transfer of deployed solutions into the 1st and 2nd level support organization.

    Ensure and organize availability of resources for 3rd level support out of own team

  • Work in strategic IT projects as project manager and / or solution specialist. Identify user requirements, work out concepts and specifications, moderate workshops and coordinate tasks.
  • Configure systems, contribute to testing activities, training documentation as well as data migration tasks

  • Contribute to the definition, documentation, development and training of the IT business application deployment approach and enforce it as part of projects.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architect as well as IT QA to ensure compliance of IT business applications with given policies

    Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or similar
  • 5 - 10 years of experiences in area of sales (SAP SD, LE, GTS), CRM and eCommerce
  • Profound professional experience in sales and CRM area
  • Good knowledge of eCommerce processes
  • Strong customer focus and ability to develop value adding solutions out of customer requirements
  • Leadership personality (and leadership skills, for example in leading a team and external Consultants)
  • Project Management skills
  • Expertise in a specific IT setting such as SAP SD, SAP LE, SAP GTS, SAP Hybris, SAP CRM, Salesforce.
  • Excellent understanding of the business processes and concepts being used
