  • Leverage the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process with effective sourcing strategies. Ensure all
  • parties understand strategies and execute processes, drive supply base alignment with R&D and Technology


  • Support planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts.
  • Minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure

  • Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists, terms and conditions
  • Adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommend frame agreements to management and
  • execute upon approval. Provide oversight and contract management with suppliers

  • Ensure identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers in accordance with policies. Define local
  • standard agreements with all major suppliers.

  • Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts / terms and conditions in line with Company directives and
  • guidelines

  • Design and implement cost-out programs and processes to reach financial targets. Participate in Make-or-Buy projects
  • related to Electronic Components category globally

  • Implement PL standards, tools, and processes focused on business continuity for the assigned commodity or group of
  • commodities. Secure availability through frame agreements, with focus also on Obsoletes and Last Buy Orders issues.

  • Own and share across the organization the knowledge or the electronics market trend in terms of availability, price and
  • technology

  • In line with the Group Category EMS and Electronics, contributes to, and participate in setting the budget and targets.
  • Ensure the Category sourcing performance targets are achieved

  • Support the introduction of electronic components and technology through strategic procurement and in close
  • collaboration with R&D and Technology department.

  • Drive introduction of standard and innovative tools at Global level (eg : Component databased, BOM management, etc),
  • to secure the strategy implementation in full coordination with R&D department

    Requirements :

  • University degree in Electronics or similar or Master’s in engineering or MBA.
  • Sourcing experience of Electronic components and EMS industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Category Management in multi-national companies
  • Excellent strategic and positive thinking skills with passion
  • Technical understanding in Electronic Components
  • Understanding manufacturing process of the PCBA and Box Build
  • Superior industry relationships developed
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated intercultural sensitivity
  • Fluency in Business English, written and oral
  • Dynamic, broad-minded, result-oriented personality
  • Acute analytical skills
  • Ability to influence group of people
  • Flexibility to travel, as needed, between 30% to 50%
  • Fluency in additional languages (eg : Chinese) is preferred
  • Previous sourcing experience in EMS, or Component Manufacturers is desirable
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management is desirable
  • CIPS knowledgeable
