To support the Ethics team by facilitating the establishment and management of a global expert group on sexual harassment.


Specifically, the incumbent will, under the supervision of the Coordinator, Ethics :

  • Support the establishment of a global experts group, by reviewing and finalizing background documents, invitations and relevant exchanges / announcements;
  • Process invitations for global experts and manage official documentation and communications;
  • Review feedback and communications with experts ahead of meetings and formal exchanges as applicable;
  • Take minutes of meetings and ensure provision of feedback to experts;
  • Monitor and track inputs and other contributions received from experts and manage different versions of documentation;
  • Support internal and external communications concerning the policy drafting process;
  • Support the development of communication materials concerning the process and the work of the expert group;
  • Support the production of related communications / updates / publications of the Ethics team as requested by the Coordinator, Ethics.
  • Education

  • Essential : Advanced level university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in law, social sciences (including public administration), public health, human resources management or related field.
  • Desirable : Professional certifications in any of the subject fields mentioned above.
  • Experience

  • Essential : At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in statistical analysis and monitoring, policy analysis, evaluation work, report writing.
  • Desirable : Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders, and project management with experience at the international level.
  • Understanding of ethics / professional conduct issues.

    Experience conducting research and analysis of complex situations / processes, including policy analysis and / or legal advice in large organizations.

    Good understanding of the structures and environment of large international organizations, policies and practices, rules and regulations.

    Use of language skills

  • Essential : Expert knowledge of English.
  • Desirable : Intermediate knowledge of French.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, and ability to write clear and concise documents.
  • Strong research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent skills in project management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and discretion, and awareness of how to handle and maintain documents of evidentiary value.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to interact with people at all levels with tact and respect and to understand various contextual settings and political considerations.
  • Attention to details, conscientiousness and efficiency in meeting commitments.
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multi-tasking, work to tight deadlines and remain clam in stressful situations.
  • Integrity, proven ability to maintain high standards of personal conduct.
