MAIN OBJECTIVE :
Reporting to the Cartier CSO, the principal mission of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) manager is to oversee and to support Cartier in implementing suitable and sufficient management systems in alignment with the overall Richemont Group Health, Safety & Environmental strategy.
The management systems must mitigate the risks for, and ensure compliance related to Health, Safety & Environment. The scope includes all Cartier operations globally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervise, coordinate and support regional, local & Entity HS managers & representatives.
Identify, promote and coordinate Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) projects.
Oversee and support incident response arrangements related to HSE.
Liaise with other functions as required to support the wider HSE agenda and ensure alignment.
Management systems :
Ensure that Cartier monitors HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) regulatory compliance. Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers and to effect timely and necessary corrections.
Implements strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required.
HSE management systems, defined by the Richemont Group HSE community are implemented locally.
Implement and supervise risk assessments methodology ensuring that risks have been identified, evaluated and correctly mitigated according to the Richemont Group strategy and standards.
Provide guidance to local HSE managers / representatives with regard to the implementation of process of continuous improvement for HSE.
Monitors injury, illness, and incident related performance for Cartier personnel globally
Monitor performance for trends or other indicators of improving or degrading incident performance, and develop and implement strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.
Coordinates and oversees all HSE initiatives, and communicate all HSE priorities in a manner that effectively drives program consistency and effectiveness across the account and market.
Participate to the proper functioning of the Cartier Group Security Department and its strategy by providing feedback on the Entities needs, proposing new projects and ideas for development.
Support planning and execution of Cartier events from a HSE perspective
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
5 years’ experience in HSE Management
Degree qualified in a HSE related subject
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics.
Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and other stakeholder groups to take desired action.
