OracleUniversity Cloud is dedicated to drive Cloudadoption of Oracle Cloud technologies in all of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS with a broad portfolio of services andproducts. Oracle Guided Learning offers end users online guidance directlyaccessible from the Oracle Cloud application. Specific to their roles andresponsibilities, Guided Learning offers users step-by-step guidance to helpthem complete their tasks. Subscriptionsallow access to SaaS, PaaS and IaaS cloud offerings. These offerings featureover 4000 hours of Cloud related content built on a platform that offersknowledge checks, skill paths, gamification and live analytics on learnerprogress. We also offer Live Events face to face or over the internet to buildskills.

KEY OBJECTIVE: 

Your objective is to drive Cloudadoption for Oracle technologies in Italy particularly around SaaS by creatinghigh value solutions to our customers. This includes Guided Learning solutions,Cloud Learning subscriptions, Live Virtual Classroom events and Face to Facesessions.

Successful candidates must be able todemonstrate a proven sales track record in the IT sector in Consulting andSolution sales around Cloud. They have to give examples of communicating at ahigh level with customers both internally and externally. A focus will be on the existing Oracle major accountsand developing Cloud accounts. Successful candidates will make an immediateimpact through initiating key relationships with sales forces in other lines ofbusiness, with clients and partners, which have a high probability of drivingadoption and generating revenue. Previous consultative selling experience is aplus as would be an understanding of the IT education business particularly in thecontext of Cloud.

  • Education &Experience - Preferably degree level and provenSales Experience of 8+ years
  • Sales Process   Management  - Proven sales experience andability to manage pipeline, forecast and achievement of sales targets, abilityto accelerate the sales process and a proven deal closure record
  • High LevelRelationship Building - Ability toinitiate and sustain long term, high level relationships with key government departments, but also clients inthe private sector
  • Internal relationships - Experience in buildinginternal relationship across lines of business to ensure the relevant OracleUniversity Cloud portfolio is attached to all major Cloud deals in theterritory
  • ConsultativeSelling -  Prior successful consultative sellingexperience
  • Negotiating andClosing -  Proven skills in negotiating andclosing complex solutions directly or with partners
  • Communication  - Flawless English and Italian combined with the experienceand confidence of communicating internationally and at a high level withexecutives
  • Self-Driven  - Stamina and self-drive to work with high levelrelationships, third parties and complex solution
  • Customer and Market Knowledge - Able to demonstrate insight to Oracle’s customers in Italy
  • Pricing and FundingModels  - Ability to develop accuratequotes and proposals in complex software and training opportunities
  • Contracting  - Ability to work with legal to draft unique or nonstandard terms, applying the contractual requirements for doing business in Italy
  • Presentation Skills  - Ability to present the value of Oracle Cloud andOracle Cloud University and present complex solutions with confidence atan executive level
  • MINIMUM ENTRY-LEVEL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Preferably degree level. Proven Sales Experience of 6+ years COMPETENCIES Strong Sales Acumen

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Sells Oracle*s training services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory. Deals are not usually complex.

    Sell Oracle education and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the Education sales offering. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of an Education value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key sales influencers.

    Job duties are varied and need independent judgment. At least 5 years field sales experience with focus on larger accounts including Education or related sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent.
