A dynamic position as Relationship Manager / Analyst within our Ship Finance team where you contribute in an international working environment with experienced and highly motivated shipping specialists
The main focus of this role is to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis and risk assessment of client requests and the preparation and presentation of credit applications for the attention of the credit decision authorities
You take over the ownership of the loan origination process from Term Sheet to credit approval ensuring adherence to internal governance rules and collaborate closely with the Transaction Manager in the Due Diligence process in respect of credit, KYC, AML and reputational aspects
You are responsible for the risk monitoring of a shipping loan portfolio and the performance of the Annual Client Reviews
You liaise with external parties, keep a close client relationship and assist and support to the Key Account Manager in the development and enhancement of client relationships, in acquisition efforts and the structuring of new financing and restructuring proposals

University degree in Banking & Finance, Banking apprenticeship with further education such as FH or adequate education;
profound credit- / ship finance experience; a CFA would be beneficial
Prior experience in in the international (asset) finance, loan structuring and credit risk analysis
You have excellent risk analysis skills and demonstrate high sense of responsibility, risk awareness, proactiveness and ownership
You show high perception and interpersonal skills as well as discretion and high affinity to client contact
You have very good knowledge of MS office applications, especially Excel and strong communication and presentation skills across all seniority levels
You are able to build trusting and positive relationships with a wide range of colleagues and to create a network with senior business partners
Fluency in English, with good German skills being an advantage
