    Director End to End (E2E) Lifecycle Management (LCM) is expected to lead the engineering Supply Chain performance to contemporary, best practice manufacturing and supply chain processes and techniques on a global scale, including the integration of acquired entities.

    Responsibility for overall End to End (E2E) supply chain engineering performance, includes support of newly launched products to end of life cycle, including process improvements, projects, capital management, cost improvements, business continuity planning, capacity planning and developing strategies for innovation and manufacturing of the future.

    This leader will have a strong combination of strategic vision and a willingness to be hands-on in all aspects of global manufacturing and supply chain operations as appropriate.

    The Sr. Director of E2E LCM will have global Supply Chain leadership responsibility of $3B+ across all global external manufacturing sites, more than 50,000 SKUs, annual COGS of $900MM with total annual cost actions of $25MM+.

    The Sr. Director of E2E LCM will be a member of the Trauma E2E Supply Chain Leadership Team and will work closely with External Manufacturers, the E2E Leader of DPS Spine, R&D, Value Steam Leaders and Commercial and have a strong collaboration with the DPS engineering team.

    Responsibilities + Has responsibility for technical life cycle management for assigned products, prioritizes and manages the total project portfolio for assigned products, provides leadership and / or support to life cycle projects and all related changes (including design, development, validation, transfers and technologies) + Works with Quality, regulatory, Make and planning to ensure readiness to react to market / customer requirements and deliver on product life cycle innovations.

  • In partnership with other supply chain functions and external manufacturers, develop capital budget plans and monitor its performance over time, including long range planning, business continuity and capacity planning.
  • Work in partnership with the New Product Introduction team, external manufacturers to ensure newest technology are evaluated and implemented in alignment with new product launches, business continuity and capacity planning.
  • Participates in strategy and architectural definition of products during life cycle, including the strategic deployment and maintenance of appropriate technology roadmaps, technology transfer for LCM, BCP / Capacity, and Network Optimization + In collaboration with other functional partners ensures that programs and projects stay on plan by resolving resource conflicts and removing obstacles, which may involve negotiations at a senior level.
  • Partner with VSL leads to ensure aligned metrics and KPI's, with focus on Reliability, Innovation, Profitability and Cashflow metrics.
  • Drive Standardization & Synergy across the network with aligned best practices in LEAN and Digital Capabilities - ensure emphasis on Innovation to drive improvement.
  • Engage the workforce with a clear and compelling vision with emphasis on "one global team" focused on the customer. + Responsible to balance and drive continuous improvement in Cost, Customer Service & Product Quality.
  • Ensure minimal compliance risk. + Drive continuous cost improvement in Gross Profit and COGS aligned to Business Strategic Plan.

  • Understanding, aligning and ensuring strong communication of the strategic vision for the business and communication / deployment of Supply Chain Strategies to enable business growth.
  • Qualifications Qualifications + Undergraduate degree in engineering, sciences or supply chain disciplines. Graduate degree / studies in science, business, engineering, finance or organizational management or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

  • This general management role requires a diverse business background (preferably with direct experience in multiple Medical Devices and Diagnostics companies) with specific Operations competencies inclusive of engineering, product innovation, planning, customer & logistics services, business continuity and capacity planning, and manufacturing.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility managing large, multi-site, global organizations, with end-to-end supply chain experience.
  • Experience with the global demands of the role specifically : multi-cultural / multi country locations and applicable local labor law, healthcare regulatory requirements, tax law, and logistics.
  • Min 10years of people management experience. + Preferred related industry experience such as manufacturing, distribution, planning, project management, procurement, engineering, and / or R&D.
  • Preferred knowledge : Understanding of financial processes such as P&L calculation and COGS; Exposure to a global environment in previous roles leading supply chain;
  • Strong understanding of external manufacturing and lifecycle management; Green Belt Certification, Black Belt / Master Black Belt Certification.
