We’re looking for a Supply Planning Analyst.
Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Corn commercial production plan, including interactions with local production locations from preliminary volume planning through to detailed supply and acreage planning;
the operational and transactional processes relating to the commercial Corn crop plan, including developing and maintaining data collection systems, updating systems, communicating with local production teams, and ensuring effective operational flow, and for monitoring, tracking, and communicating issues with availability and quality of parent seed;
coordinating cross-regional supply replacement; supporting timely parent sourcing and delivery processes.
Your Challenge : t
1. Manage the Commercial Volume, Supply and Acreage Planning Process (50%) t t tDevelop a commercial crop plan for Corn t t t t tOwn the volume planning tool : ensure accuracy of data and assumptions relating to inventories and forecast t t tCommunicate cross-functionally to make sure information flow is accurate and ensure global systems are updated t t t t t tServe as point of contact for cross-regional supply, communicating production needs using global processes t tCoordinate the regional acreage planning processes for Corn t t t t tDefine and drive the calendar of acreage planning activities;
t t tDefine regional supply strategy at product level; t t tDrive the regional budget yield setting processes aligned to global standards : t t t t t t tDevelop and improve data analytics related to yield setting for regional and local production locations;
t t t tProvide hybrid-level recommendations for budget yield by growing location, considering all relevant data available;
t t t tLead regional budget yield setting process and meetings; t t t tEnsure all volume, supply, and growing plans are completed on-time and aligned to expectations;
t t t t t t t t tCommunicate growing plan to local field operations teams and monitor changes t t tEnsure system and data accuracy related to all commercial production;
t t tTrack, report, and control all in-season supply estimates against relevant KPI. t t tPartner with local production teams to ensure all parent and commercial volume and acreage planning activities are aligned to local needs.
t t tMonitor demand and supply of commercial materials, determining Winter Production recovery options as needed. t t t t t t
Coordinate Parent Volume Planning Processes (30%) : t t tCoordinate with marketing and product management to ensure accurate signal for Plus 2 sales, with special attention to new and retiring products.
t tEnsure End-to-End process is adhered to : monitor commercial volumes in line with standards and lifecycle changes t tLiaise with global parent team to ensure accurate planning of parent production t tProvide early signals to commercial and SPSC teams regarding inbred availability, shortages.
t tEnter, track, and control all parent sourcing signals for European production. t tProblem solve any issue related to parent sourcing, and be proactive in finding solutions to problems. t t
Be an engine for Continuous Improvement for Corn Acreage and Supply Planning (20%) t
Actively participate in E2W activities, proposing new initiatives and leading them through to completion
Support D2W projects, represent volume planning in projects with an End-to-End dimension
Lead implementation in Europe of new ERP volume planning tools, as per global guidance and agenda
Drive process and systems standardization and improvements in acreage and supply planning processes, leveraging experiences to propose and implement new ways of doing business.
Serve as key contact with sales and marketing for reliability and produceability information related to life cycle and product management.
Key Stakeholders and Interactions :
This position reports to the Senior Crop Planning Manager for Europe.
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree, MBA or advanced certification an advantage.
5-7 years’ experience in operations or operations planning.
Meaningful experience in a multinational supply chain; preferably in agri-business.
Excellent analytical skills, proven ability to work with complex data (databases and complex spreadsheet).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with many key stakeholder across functions.
Ability to motivate and influence across functions and reporting lines.
Dynamic : ability to prioritize work, work under time constraints, work under pressure, manage complexity and uncertainty.
SAP transactional and reporting experience.
MS Access, SQL, BusinessObjects, and Tableau or similar database experience preferred.
Fluency in English with an additional European languages preferred.
