IT Software Engineer

DXT Commodities SA is looking for a highly motivated and pro-active IT Developer able to work closely with the commodity trading desk.

Tasks :

  • Responsible for building C# applications
  • Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL / SQL procedures and functions
  • Understanding and experience of the whole web application stack from database layer up to the front-end
  • Design and develop these applications and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure
  • Requirements :

  • Proven interpersonal skills in order to build strong relationships with internal clients and the team of developers
  • At least 24 months experience as a C# software engineer
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering
  • Proficient in an Object Oriented language. C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems is a plus
  • Proficient in writing fine-tuned SQL queries, stored procedures and working with relational databases, experience with Oracle is a plus
  • Familiarity with the .NET MVC pattern and with javascript and web applications is a plus
  • User interface experience is a plus : HTML, CSS, Bootstrap , jQuery, Angular, React, Knockout.js, Vue.js
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN)
  • Experience with Rabbit MQ is a plus
  • Good analytical , interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English
