The Trade Finance Specialist (OTC Specialist) is responsible for maintaining and analyze the AR in collaboration with the Business Service Center (BSC), OTC activities related to the Swiss based trading entities selling in Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia.

She / he is key contact for CSDM for Trade Finance related topics and provides a risk adequate advice. She / he has a strong understanding of the business requirement and is able to combine the Sales and Working Capital objectives.

She / he is a strong partner to the business and coordinates the day to day OTC activities as well as the analysis and risk assessment of the trading business.

Furthermore she / he is monitoring / controlling the PTP service delivery of the BSC service partner to ensure a satisfying business support.

She / he is participating in projects, takes work stream responsibility and ensures timely delivery. This person also ensures the accuracy, completeness and consistency of OTC activities.

The OTC Specialist is a strong business partner to multiple internal stakeholders. The primary activities include but are not limited to :

  • Manage the OTC day to day operation activities.
  • Ensures a solid and sustainable revenue recognition process.
  • Closely coordinate and collaborate with the Business Service Center (BSC) in Prague.
  • Acts as a strong Trade Finance business partner with respect to Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
  • Support the business with risk management and trade finance solutions.
  • Interacts with the business and the BSC to ensure adequate credit risk assessments and limit management.
  • Support the BSC and local markets in the collection process and provided solution oriented feedback to the market.
  • Understand and analyze OTC relevant data and define relevant actions.
  • Interact with senior leaders to assess and understand AR status and related action.
  • Support Project management and drive dedicated work streams.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Initiate process improvements across various work streams.
  • Monitors, measures, and sustains data quality and resolves issues.
  • Communicates business value.
