What will you be working with
Implementing and maintaining adequate risk governance, organization and methodologies
Define a risk reporting framework and implement reporting procedures on risk exposure to board and executive committees
Enhance the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) incl. the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) and related risk policies, processes, and procedures
Provide guidance to the 1st LoD with respect to operational risk management activities (e.g. risk and control self-assessment)
Develop control review methodology and plan
Ensure completeness and accuracy of the control environment by conducting control reviews
Support 1st LoD in establishing and maintaining a complete risk and control register
Manage operational risk events and ensure the monitoring of open issues and escalating delayed or critical issues ( Issue Management )
Our wish list
Experience of at least three years as Risk Manager within the Swiss financial service industry
Bachelor’s degree from a Swiss university or university of applied science in Law, Economics or similar is an asset, banking experience is favorable
Able to work under pressure, independently and remotely
Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organized personality, entrepreneurial can-do attitude, and highest integrity
Ability of dealing with multiple challenging assignments in parallel with highest attention to details
Passion and personal interest for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
You enjoy working interdisciplinary with experts from various fields
Fluent in German and English, any other language is a plus
