Ittingen Charterhouse - a former monastery - is today one of Switzerland's leading 3-star superior seminar and cultural centres.
Our guests have at their disposal a hotel with 68 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, various event locations with around 1,000 seats and 25 seminar rooms with up to 450 seats.
In unique historical surroundings, we offer an incomparable setting for a wide variety of social and cultural events. In addition to the hospitality business, Ittingen Charterhouse runs an estate business with viticulture, butchery, fish farming, market garden and cheese dairy, as well as a home and work business for assisted employees.
It is also home to two museums and the "tecum" educational establishment. In the restaurant we process and serve over 200 products of the highest quality from our own estate.
Ittingen Charterhouse was named a TopHotel by HolidayCheck every year from 2014 to 2021. We were honoured by ICOMOS Suisse with the special award 2019 on the occasion of the election "Historic Hotel / Historic Restaurant of the Year".
At the Swiss Employer Award 2019 we reached the great 4th place in the category 100 to 249 employees and are best in the industry.
With this internship position, we are looking for an ambitious, open-minded person who would like to expand his or her practical experience in one of the most versatile gastronomy businesses in Switzerland.
Applications are planned in all areas of a classic kitchen. If you are interested, we can also offer selective insights into our viticulture, cheese dairy, butchery, marketing / floristry, reservation and reception.
You will work in an instructive working environment with a professional, guest-oriented and motivated team. You can expect extremely varied and exciting tasks in a noticeably positive working atmosphere.
