YourResponsibilities :

  • Strategy - Support SeniorManager Innovation Center Routine to develop Business Unit strategy incoordination with the Regional Units and R&D;
  • develop business cases e.g.for M&A activities, co-operations and Applied Project; develop long-termstrategy for the target markets / customer segments

    ProfitableBusiness Growth - Developand adjust business plans for existing and new product lines; analyze markets,utilize competitive intelligence, global sales performance etc.

    develop effective Marketing strategies withRegional Units and Global Marketing

    Conduct business reviews with RegionalUnits - Develop monthly / quarterly / annual forecast and implement correctiveactions

  • Innovations - Drive theinnovation process for Applied in cooperation with R&D,Strategic Marketing and Regional Units based on customer needs, workflowsolution approaches and adapting technical and digital trends includingreference points of market and competitors;
  • define innovation road map; identifycustomer pain points in collaboration with Application teams and translatethose into product ideas;
  • create business plans for development projects thattranslate product ideas into commercially effective solutions; drive Hardware and Software Innovationtogether with all relevant stakeholders, scouting for new / disruptive hardware andsoftware solutions;
  • establish network to outside partners that could supporthardware and / or software development

    InternationalOutbound / Downstream Marketing - Define and develop marketing communication mix forproduct portfolio (collaterals, events, digital, etc.

  • in alignment withStrategic Marketing; analyze productportfolio positioning and global pricing, include regional market situations;
  • performoverall launch coordination with Regions (software release for customers w / andw / o PC, dongle, downloads, etc;
  • conduct Launch Activities as introduction ofnew products at major congresses, provide Product Trainings for Sales, Service,Distributors, support Demo’s for major customers etc.

    to leverage productsuccesses in launch as well as were necessary

    Danaher BusinessSystem (DBS) - Utilizerelevant DBS tools for Product Management, Growth, and Innovation; activelysupport and use the daily usage DBS standards as daily management, war rooms,OBEYA rooms etc.

  • SalesExecutions - Designand conduct knowledge transfer strategies, organize regular product trainingand / or Boot Camp activities for internal participants as well asdealers / distributors;
  • develop Sales Stimulation programs, War rooms, etc.; developcompetition comparison materials ( battlecards ), define and implement OEMbusiness strategy for the products defined

    PersonnelManagement & Development - Coach, motivate and engage direct reports associate’s performanceand engagement

    OurExpectations :

    3-5 years’ experience in product management, businessdevelopment and / or sales and service role in a relevant high-tech industry

    3 years of working in international environments,esp. with stakeholders in APAC highly desired

    Proven track record in product planning, defining andlaunching successful products, unifying product portfolios and drive thecommercialization of products

    Relevant and repeated successes in leading innovationprojects and implementing Digital Solutions in products of the Measurement orQuality Assurance area

    Demonstrated success in leading innovation projects,launch and commercialization of products

    first experience in strategy development as well asdefinition and evaluation of complex business cases

    Bachelor Degree in Engineering or businessadministration

    Specialization in digital, software, innovationprocesses is a plus; expert in digital Microscopy

    Excellent English (spoken & written), Germandesirable

    Travel : 30% of time
