Field Real Time Specialist


Salary : £22,000 - 24,500 per annum plus £1,800 performance-based bonus

Working hours : 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, shifts patterns between 8am to 7pm. Must be flexible with shifts as per business requirements.

Holidays : 21 days holidays (increasing to 23 days after 1 years’ service) plus bank holidays

We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Real Time Specialist to join our fast-growing business. The successful candidate will be key in ensuring our Field Service Engineers have a full and efficient agenda based on our customer’s needs.

The selected candidate will report to the Workforce Planning Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day operation of OFSC - Oracle Field Service Cloud (formerly TOA).

Daily responsibilities will focus on monitoring the schedules of the Field Service Engineers (FSE) and assigning tasks to the Field Scheduling Specialists in order to ensure maximum efficiency on the field and offer best-in-class customer experience.

The successful candidate will also ensure the services are scheduled appropriately and that Field Service Engineers are utilised at capacity.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Ensure fulfilment of Field Service Engineer’s agendas with focus on immediate to short term
  • Assigning tasks to the Field Scheduling Specialists and re-assigning services based on planned and unplanned operational needs
  • Fulfilling campaigns in line with departmental requirements
  • Support field team managers in management of their teams and their teams needs
  • Manage capacities and availability of agendas based on geographical requirements
  • Adjust current days capacity for key geographical areas
  • Manage customer expectations by keeping them updated via SMS in case of delayed services
  • Maintain monthly SLA’s
  • Required :

  • A focus on customer services to ensure fulfilment in a time frame that suits the both the customers and business needs
  • Good communication skills in order to relate to other functional areas and people with greater expertise and / or responsibility
  • Ability to work autonomously, take the initiative and set priorities.
  • Ability to manage different tasks at the same time.
  • Tech savvy and a quick learner
  • Experience using workforce management programs such as Oracle Field Service Cloud (previously TOA) highly preferable
