Let's Talk about the Role Footwear Planning + Coordinate Planning activities and deadlines with other departments and with customer to grand the correct flow of information and to execute Forecasting, Planning and Product Acquisition activities : buy dates and deliveries definition, buy plan to vendors, size range management, system set up and coordination with Pricing / Sales Operations / Customer Service for direct shipment settings, sales campaign deadlines communication to Sales / DTC+ Work closely with Sales / Merchandising / Product Team on Footwear line efficiency and capacity optimization (style count and product flow) to manage risks and opportunities based on forecast trend / variation+ Calculate and plan SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) buys based on forecast, sales orders, inventory levels, open purchase orders and production constraints (minimums, lead time), in order to achieve : + Maximum on time deliveries+ Minimum inventory risk+ Minimum shortage+ Minimum surcharge expense+ Place SKU buys to the vendors and assure data flow accuracy+ Advise Sales Team of sold-out products during the preseason campaign, offering product alternatives where available and maintaining sold-out information in ERP+ Liaise regularly with vendors to address topics such as minimums, lead times, buy plans, production challenges.
Negotiate with vendor better conditions in terms of lead times and minimums+ Assist with general delivery problems and assure necessary offices are informed, follow up on deliveries and ship modes+ Manage vendors delays and work with Sales, Logistics and DC to minimize impact on sales orders+ Analyse POs arrival dates compared to sales order requested delivery dates to assure on time coverage.
Request production accelerations or air shipment where necessary. Advise Sales and Customer Service of any significant delay.
Put stock on hold when necessary.+ Manage direct shipments, cross docking orders and photo-shooting requests.+ Manage invoices' approval.
Demand Planning + Support Apparel and Accessories demand planning coordinator in producing an accurate sales forecast, aligned with budget+ Participate the seasonal consensus meetings with Supply Planning to assure highest forecast accuracy and to reduce risk of blind purchases+ Analyse shortage and excess inventory to guarantee maximum efficiency+ Liaise regularly with Sales regarding sales trends, product offer and lifecycle+ Regularly monitor seasonal Key Performance Indicators to promptly take actions if needed+ Map forecast accuracy by product segmentation and style level+ Monitor orders entry daily Reporting and Analysis + Conduct qualitative & quantitative analysis to highlight trends, opportunities and performance+ Produce sales analysis and budget reports for Sales and Executives+ Produce order coverage and inventory reports for Supply Chain and Executives How You Will Make a Difference + University Degree in industrial engineering, economics, statistics or equivalent+ At least 1 year of experience with Forecasting and Planning activities+ Fluent English, verbal and written+ Excellence in Excel, strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment+ Passion for working with numbers, analytical mind set.
