The Intelligence Department is part of the Strategy, Intelligence & Internal Communication Division and works cross-functionally in the Consumer Goods Business Unit with selected strategic mandates on corporate level.
We work closely with our functional peers by providing a consumer, market, competitors and trend perspective to decision-
making. Our approaches blend strategic, research and analytics methodologies. In this position, you will report directly to the VP Intelligence.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Your main responsibilities will include :
Identifying and alligning requirements with all relevant divisions on the right structure and content of intelligence standard products, including consumer personas, consumer journey maps, market & category sizing, competitor profiles
Collaborating closely with the Senior Manager Sharing and Activation on defining the right platform for sharing and activating frameworks in the organisation
Operating workshops & other sharing formats to facilitate use of intelligence products
Working with Consumer, Competitor and Market Intelligence team to distill knowledge and identify key insights to update existing and develop new intelligence standard products
Managing the data collection and synthesis process for intelligence products such as market scanning, consumer journey tacking or market&category sizing
Regulary benchmarking approaches with best in class companies
WHAT WE EXPECT
We are looking for a motivated, analytical colleague who brings along the following background :
At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in a research position (e.g. research role in an industry practice of a consultancy, inhouse research manager of a consumer goods company)
Strong track record in synthesizing data from various sources and views to feed recurring questions of a large audience
Proven ability to structure outputs in an easy to understand way
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with modern tools (e.g. webinars, podcasts, infographics) desired
Hands-on experience in operating web-based platforms and dashboard tools
Ability to represent topics and drive decision-making on an executive level
Proven experience in developing business cases and approaches in key areas for intelligence, such as go-to-market, digital or marketing mix topics
Strong command of both written and spoken English
