Corporate Development is responsible for the growth strategy of the new Communication Services (KS) division. As a team we develop market strategies, find and evaluate potential partners and are responsible for the M&A projects including the integration of the acquired companies.

Your field of activity
You will provide strategic advice to the KS division and the subordinate business units for company acquisitions, with a focus on overall project management as well as commercial and operational due diligence.
Within the KS unit, you will analyze the market fields and their service portfolio and identify promising innovative market fields / business models in the communication and IT services markets.
You will develop market-specific inorganic growth strategies (e.g. buy & build or consolidation strategies) by analysing business models and technologies and identifying synergy potentials for Swiss Post.
Based on the evaluation criteria you have developed, you will prioritize target companies in long and short lists.
As overall project manager of M&A projects, you will create, analyze and evaluate business plans, carry out company evaluations with your colleagues from the finance department and act as an interface to the central functions of the Group (Finance, Legal, IT / Tech, etc.
You will make decisions on the projects and implement the acquisitions.
Your main place of work will be Bern. However, there is also the option that you can work two or three days a week at our location in Zurich or at home.
You have a university degree in business or an engineering degree in combination with an MBA.
You have at least five years' experience in M&A and have implemented several buy-side transactions ideally as an employee of the buyer.
You have a flair for recognizing a strategic position for Swiss Post across multiple transactions and achieving it consistently.
Your many years' professional experience in IT, digital business and cyber security help you to master this challenge competently.
An acute sense of responsibility and quality awareness, and your hands-on approach, distinguish you.
Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English, as well as good oral comprehension of French, round off your profile.
