The role

A role has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual (Associate level) to support our CEO in the management of PG Impact Investments' global investment platform.

The successful candidate will support the CEO on a range of business activities, ensuring tasks and projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively.

The role will be based in Zug, and will involve limited travel.

Key duties :

The candidate will play a key role in coordinating, progressing and managing many projects and tasks, ensuring that the Company's investment platform is running smoothly and corporate projects are delivered on time, following up where conflicts arise and bringing urgent issues to the CEO's attention.

The key duties will be divided across the following areas :

  • Support CEO in the management of the global investment platform : Co-ordination and support of Board meetings across the platform to ensure decision making and regulatory compliance of our various advisory and GP / manager entities;
  • Ensure a smooth running of the firm operations : the candidate helps to unblocks road-blocks experienced within the firm and / or its service providers (Partners Group, Alter Domus, etc.).

  • Support CEO in the management of the firm : Co-ordination and support of the Executive Committee ("ExCo") : the candidate organizes and oversees the well-running of the ExCo, including setting and reviewing the agendas, occasionally participating in discussions, taking minutes and following-up on all action items Co-ordination of Global Functions : the candidate co-ordinates and ensures timely delivery of end products of the Firm's various Global Functions
  • Planning & controlling : Ensure timely, accurate, collaborative and transparent financial planning and budgeting cycle in close co-operation with the CEO and ExCo;
  • Ensure adequate financial controlling in close co-operation with accounting and fund administration; Co-ordinate & support audits.

  • Risk management & Internal Controls : Ensure update / annual reviews of Enterprise Wide Risk Management ("EWRM") and Business Risk Assessments in close co-operations with Partners Group's risk experts;
  • Manage and further develop the firm's Internal Control System ("ICS").

  • MIS Build firm-wide MIS and key management reports for ExCo. The candidate will analyse and interpret data and KPI metrics to help guide ExCo decisons;
  • Support operating units in the development of unit-specific management reports.

    What we expect

    We are looking for a professional with the willingness and ability to excel within a highly entrepreneurial organization.

    The successful candidate should have :

  • Degree from a top-tier university, preferably with a focus on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and / or Economics and excellent academic record
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience with a leading private equity firm (preferred) or management consulting firm
  • Good understanding of private equity funds, processes and operations
  • Highly-developed interpersonal and communications skills (written / verbal)
  • Results / action-orientation project and stakeholder management skills
  • Organizational and political agility; developed negotiation skills
  • Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity and trust
  • Able to work independently and to successfully navigate with limited guidance in a highly complex, international and fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Business fluency in English required
