A Day in the Life

Main scope of the role

  • Achieving sales revenue and profit targets by presenting, demonstrating and selling capital products
  • Provide instrument s support
  • Capital Product portfolio (O-arm, Nav, Mazor, Stealth Autoguide)
  • Neurosurgical and Ortho / Trauma departments
  • Assigned geographic region
  • Drive trainings for the organization
  • Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Actively develop and pursue list of sales opportunities in assigned region and coordinate activities with Account Sales Rep.
  • based on Account prioritization and account strategies

  • Actively manage the capital funnel (CRM) with the Account Sales Rep.
  • Present and demonstrate capital products to surgeons and clinical staff
  • Create sales proposal in coordination with Account Sales Rep. and District Sales Manager
  • Offering advice on product usage and specifications
  • Offer support as needed at conferences and congresses
  • Provide reports of activities and issues as required by management
  • Must Have

  • Technical product and clinical knowledge of the defined product scope
  • Proven track record and several years of experience in selling innovative and technical products
  • Solution Sales experience capital preferred. Hunter mentality, comfortable with a longer sales cycle
  • Business fluency in German and English - written and spoken
  • Strong sales process management skills for capital equipment (lead generation and qualification)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Located in German speaking part of Switzerland
  • Nice to Have

  • Medical sales experience, Knowledge of the operating room environment and of the Hospital market
  • Strong presentation skills; orally and with power point. Need to be comfortable using Excel to create product comparison spending analysis
  • General understanding of healthcare economics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a matrix structure or multinational company
