We develop, build and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines, which capture CO₂ directly from the air. The air-captured carbon dioxide can either be recycled and reused as a raw material or completely removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.

Will you join us?
Your mission at Climeworks is to enable data driven optimization and decisions by developing and implementing a data analysis protocol using statistical models.
You are responsible for exploration, development, validation and deployment of models and the build-up of a digital twin of our direct air capture plants.
You optimize CO2 production and energy consumption of our plants through the exploitation of models and the design of systematic experimental campaigns.
You help increasing the availability of our plants through continuous improvement of automated plant-monitoring on our digital twin platform.
You collaborate closely with plant operators, engineers and scientists to be up to date with the development of our technology.
You help improving quality standards for data-collection and -analysis.
You have completed a university degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics or another quantitative field.
You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role and have confirmed ability to manipulate data sets and building statistical models independently.
You have advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, models & concepts and can apply them to real-world problems.
You are furthermore experienced in Python and SQL experience with Azure data architectures is a big plus.
You are a person that really owns the work, is seeking for high-quality data-driven insights and that thrives to work in an interdisciplinary team.
You are fluent in English, knowledge in German is beneficial but not required.
