POSITION ADVERTISEMENT - Analysis
The Mathematics Department at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville seeks exceptional candidates to fill a tenure-track, assistant professor position in analysis.
A PhD or equivalent degree in mathematics is required. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. Primary consideration will be given to candidates whose interests overlap with those of existing faculty.
These research interests include operator theory and operator algebras, complex and harmonic analysis, SLE, and discrete function theory.
Evidence of potential for excellence in research and high quality teaching is required. Review of applications will begin November 1 and continue until the position is filled.
