The purpose of this job is to support the delivery of preclinical development excellence in compliance with internal policies and external regulations by providing scientific expertise on GSK-CH project strategies.

This position applies subject matter expertise in bio-medical sciences to contribute to the development, implementation, delivery, and communication of preclinical studies to support innovation pipelines.

Accountable key preclinical development activities include working on preclinical study concept, design, and research methodology, developing preclinical protocols, summarization and interpretation, study report.


  • Develop and execute research plans and studies using established scientific methods and protocols
  • Develop, adapt and validate test methods and procedures.
  • Contribute to the design, conduct and scientific merit of preclinical studies. Organize preclinical testing.
  • Partner with other GSM and, if required, R&D functions to develop innovative study designs / methodologies to enable new and competitive claims to be made on GSK Consumer Healthcare products.
  • Ensuring preclinical trials are undertaken in compliance with external e.g. GLP and other internal policy requirements.
  • Responsible for conducting clinical due diligence for external opportunities
  • WHY YOU ?

  • Excellent background in pharmacology and minimum of 5 years experience (at least 2 years in a laboratory : cell biology or skin / other tissue permeation studies).
  • Knowledge of analytical methods and DMPK is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • English : fluency oral and written, knowledge of French an asset
  • Strong computer literacy including competent in Microsoft Office software
