MAIN PURPOSE

In the Operating Model Transformation department, the Organization Sr. Manager is in charge to structure, formalize and implement key roles and responsibilities across several networks of experts / users of the group operating model.

These networks are in charge to ensure the definition, improvement and transformation of Richemont’s Operating Model.

The Organization Sr. Manager will work closely with the other departments of the Operating Model team, ie portfolio management, program management and knowledge management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify the different key roles of the Operating Model transformation (technology consultants, business experts, Portfolio managers, Project managers, Sponsors, Key users, final users etc,) and in partnership with them, their management and HR clarify and formalize their activities and split of responsibilities in relation to Operating Model transformation activities : Portfolio management, Projects;
  • Operating Model knowledge management; Change management; Continuous improvement; etc

  • Implement the new formalized roles across the group in close partnership with HR and management
  • Define, structure and support the establishment of communities of practice across roles and job area (manufacturing, sales administrator, retail back-
  • office etc.) for example a community for manufacturing key users.

  • Identify needed technology and tools necessary to animate those communities
  • Drive or support the implementation and continuous improvement of those technology in close partnership with technology and communities
  • Promote the activities and scope expansion of these communities
  • Strong collaboration and support of department’s other teams : portfolio management, project management and knowledge management
  • Profile

  • Master in economics or engineering
  • 10+ years of total business experience
  • Proven record in complex project management (several functions, geographies or business model involved in the project)
  • Very Good communication skills
  • Very Good interpersonal skills
  • A functional experience, preferably in retail, ecommerce, logistics, manufacturing or any area involving important operational activities
  • Proven facilitation, change management, and problem solving experience
  • Comfortable in working up and across the organization working with senior staff members and front line employees
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
  • Strong Human Resources processes acumen
  • Strong IT and technology acumen, capacity to understand and work with technical concepts
  • Excellent presentation skills, including ability to create presentations using MS Power Point and experience presenting to all levels of an organization
