The primary function of this role will be to develop a structured approach to the management of the divisional Sales and Operations Planning processes
Responsible for the development and deployment of global standard processes and technical design of all activities relating to S&OP for LPB division
Identify strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement in S&OP processes and systems
Lead design of global template solution for S&OP processes
Lead the development of the systems functionality to support the S&OP as part of integrated Supply Chain project
Co-ordinate the configuration and localization of the global standard solutions suitable for application in all BUs and sites
Develop and deliver the training of local teams in all S&OP related processes as part of global project
Develop S&OP modules and materials to form core part of Supply Chain academy
Ongoing responsibility for the development and maintenance of the S&OP community fostering knowledge and best practice sharing
Identify processes to develop S&OP cycle at divisional level
Identify and lead strategic initiatives to ensure S&OP processes contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives across the division
The successful candidate will likely have a mix of the following experience / education :
Education - Degree level or equivalent (Ideally in Supply Chain or Business Management)
Languages - English - Business Fluent
Further qualifications - CPIM (APICS) or equivalent
Work Experience - Supply Chain (Highly experienced) - Operations (Advanced)
Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support Data Management initiatives
Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
Strong process mapping and reengineering skills
Ability to develop and deliver training material to a wide multicultural audience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis
Competent using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
The primary location of this role is Basel but the job location is flexible. Significant travel will be required.
