Every year OC Sport's international team organises 100+ days of competition, across 20+ events on 4 continents.
The Outdoor Events Assistant will work across the following events in 2015 :
Geneva Marathon for Unicef (presented by Harmony) (2-3 May 2015)
Haute Route Pyrenees : 7 day cyclosportive (15-21 August 2015)
Haute Route Alps : 7 day cyclosportive (23-29 August 2015)
Haute Route Dolomites and Swiss Alps : 7 day cyclosportive (31 Aug 06 Sept 2015)
Haute Route Compact : 2 days cyclosportive
Any new event that are confirmed
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assistance for logistics management and support for all aspects of our events
Assistance for volunteer recruitment and management
Assistance for merchandise quotations, purchasing and delivery where necessary
Assistance for supplier liaison across all events
Support and assistance regarding our Sustainability management programme
Support and assistance for stock and inventory management
Day to day assistance in administrative tasks
Supporting the Logistics Manager
The detailed perimeter of your responsibilities on each event will be confirmed in the coming weeks
This list is not exhaustive and you will be required to manage any reasonable tasks as and when required.
TERMS FOR THE ROLE
You will be given a monthly allowance of 560CHF
You will be entitled to 5 working days holiday per 6 months of internship. This will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
Office hours are between 9.00am and 6.00pm. During busy periods you may be expected to work evening and weekends.
Travel, accommodation and subsistence are covered for approved business travel, in line with current policies.
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent communications skills
Fluent in English and French. Additional languages would be an asset (Italian / Spanish especially).
Ability to use initiative

A dedicated and enthusiastic approach
An interest in Outdoor Sports (especially running and cycling)
Good knowledge of iOS systems and computer software (Excel, Word, Keynote etc. the company mainly operates on Apple machines).
Good physical condition, as some tasks within the role will be physically demanding
Ability and willingness to travel
Driving license is mandatory
