This is a role waiting for you to put your own stamp on it.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Work closely with the Head of Strategy and Global Health Policy to build new partner networks as well as foster and grow existing NF relationships -
  • from government, academia, think tanks, foundations, private sector, civil society and international / multilateral organizations

  • Develop a strategy for engaging with thought leaders and seek opportunities to build productive alliances with diverse stakeholders
  • Conduct due diligence on individuals / organizations from relevant sectors to create expert committees and working groups to advance thought leadership and advocacy around a range of pressing issues in global health.
  • Through research and expert consultations, prepare strategy documents and concept notes for a variety of stakeholder engagement and communcations, including dissemination strategies and stakeholder analysis / reports on thematic topics in global Health
  • Support the organization of such expert committees / meetings and coordinate their outcomes. Prepare agendas and draft talking points;
  • draft and proof read concept notes, fact sheets, outlines, presentations, reports and Q&As

  • Synthesize discussions, consensus or recommendations into papers and manuscripts that can serve for publication in scientific peer reviewed journals or for dissemination through other communication channels
  • Cultivate opportunities for and coordinate NF participation in relevant events that align with NF policy work and programmatic intervention areas
  • Represent NF at relevant external events, as speaker, panelist, discussant or networker and promote NF initiatives and outcomes to governments, international organizations, media and other relevant Partners
  • Manage initiatives as part of an inter-disciplinary team. Work collaboratively across multicultural, interdisciplinary teams including internal and external members and partners around the world
  • Planning and tracking of NF budgets in his / her programmatic area, in close collaboration with partners
  • Minimum requirements

  • Master degree in business, public health, public policy, clinical sciences, social sciences or equivalent
  • English fluent oral and written
  • Knowledge and experience global health policy, including from a local, regional and / or international level
  • Minimum five years of work experience in global health stakeholder engagement and / or management, strategic communciations, outreach and public relations
  • Excellent writing and communciation
  • Experience as an editor, proof reading original content, and knowledge of different platforms digital and hard copy for dissemination
  • Strong understanding of public policy and the policy formation process at a national and international level, its political and media context and its role in wider external communciation strategies
  • Proven history of research, synthesis, analysis and recommendation formulation
  • Proven agility to work in environments that are fast-paced, showing strong flexibility and action-oriented mindset
  • Ability to understand complex global health and policy projects / discussions and translate technical information for a public audienceWhy consider Novartis?
