To strengthen the Architecture & Shared Services Department of our Technology & Operations Division.
As the Enterprise / Solution Architect you will provide the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design required to implement the Group's enterprise architecture.
As such, your work will focus on three main areas :
Strategy Capturing the business and technology context. Translate strategic goals and propose the architecture strategy needed to achieve these goals.
Produce architectural road maps to realize the strategy.
Projects Influencing programmes and projects to ensure the architectural road map is actionable. Specify the architectural requirements in the form of standards, implementation examples, design patterns and reference architectures, and provide them to product teams.
Design pragmatic solutions that are compliant with business requirements, costs and architectural requirements.
Innovation Keep abreast of emerging technologies, evaluating them and performing proofs of concept. Ensure that the most promising innovations are adopted and implemented.
Developing target architecture for strategy, business or technology capabilities.
Inventorying and assessing current-state capabilities, limitations and risks.
Deﬁning, communicating, and updating standards for applications, services and platforms.
Identifying and evaluating options for addressing current-state limitations and moving toward target state. Deﬁne sequence and key milestones.
Developing overall solution architectures and defining the optimum scope of a change programme based on strategy, high-
level business requirements and constraints.
Carrying out a holistic review of all the projects in a portfolio relative to current state, target state and dependencies, as well as recommending scope and sequencing.
Providing guidance and support for approved, initiated projects to develop detailed designs based on high-level solution designs, current standards and architecture best practices.
Providing periodic reports on new / emerging technology and tech trends that might open up opportunities for the business.
Working with our Applied Innovation unit to scope and conduct small POCs to evaluate potential business innovations.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or qualification deemed equivalent.
Ensure your qualifications remain up-to-date through continuous learning certificates or diplomas in technology or related fields.
Very good financial and banking knowledge. CFA, AZEK or equivalent certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years design and implementation experience in IT, with practice in API-oriented architectures, and a good understanding of software development.
Understanding of agile methods and processes, and ability to provide support for agile project teams.
Must be resident in Switzerland.
