Our C&P software team is seeking an experienced Software Architect to join us in defining the overall architecture and design of our next generation software for creativity and productivity peripherals.
As an experienced software architect, your mission is to lead the system design and architectural vision of Operating Systems (OS) & thirdparty integrations and extensibility for the software platform using modern technology stacks with a core focus on reusability, scalability and performance at scale.
Your technical leadership will be counted on to set strategic direction in developing the technology roadmaps and plans for software roadmap.

These are the behaviors you'll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will :
Provide leadership for the system architecture, design and implementation of the next generation creativity and productivity software platform Work closely with internal and external partners to gather requirements and design plugin components to support OS & third-party integrations, leveraging API frameworks Provide deep technical expertise in Integration architecture design, solutions selection and implementation, and continuous technical improvements Work with product and engineering teams to help define product direction.
Communicate early and often to highlight risks and downside of solutions and be prepared to list options
and recommendation Partner with developers, architects, and product owners to drive user centric design, test-driven development, and CI / CD practices.
Define the solution with modularity, reuse and testability in mind, anticipating extensibility for future phases Provide strong documentation and specifications Guide and mentor team members in the implementation of the solutions Oversee progress of the development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
Deep working knowledge and debugging skills of operating systems (Mac / Windows), memory management, networking and run time environments Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences Service oriented attitude, with strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Fluency with the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies Experience with unit-test driven approach to development Be able to technically lead and develop a team of developers who might be geographically distributed Excellent command of English.
