Operational Risk Manager Role in the First Line of Defense Support team of Swiss Universal Bank (SUB) IT & Operations. Our open-
minded and high performing team is responsible to ensure SUB IT & Operations’ compliance with operational risk requirements by regulators and bank policies and develop the according framework, governance and processes and the respective reporting.

Possibility to develop and craft the Operational Risk management framework, governance and processes for SUB IT & Operations in line with the developments of the bank-
wide Operational Risk framework
Diverse and challenging set of responsibilities in BAU and projects with insight into many areas and processes of the bank (front-
to-back), e.g., risk assessments, definition of control frameworks, risk reporting, etc.
You get the chance to create a strong network with the business in SUB IT & Operations as well as the Operational Risk Management community of SUB across the three lines of defense
You hold a university degree in an area related to Business Administration, Finance, Compliance or an equivalent education
You bring at least five years of working experience in Operational Risk Management, Project Management, Process Development or Compliance, and / or experience with banking processes (front-
and / or back-office processes)
As a versatile self-starter and fast learner, you are able to quickly digest new information and have the capability to independently develop know how on new topics
You have already shown your holistic and structured way of thinking and problem solving in various occasions
You have an independent, reliable, dedicated and goal oriented work style with interest in developing new concepts and skills
You combine a strong self-responsibility with a high level of initiative and engagement
Having a supportive and empathetic character together with excellent social skills allows you to effectively collaborate across backgrounds, personalities and different levels of seniority and building up a sustainable professional network
You possess very good verbal and written communication skills in English and German
