Role purpose

In 2017 Syngenta established Syngenta Digital, a centre of excellence dedicated to drive forward the organisation’s global digital transformation.

This team works with senior executives across the organisation to design and drive initiatives that will radically accelerate the organisation’s digital journey.

In your role as Program Management & Change Support you will act as the right hand of the Global Head of Digital Program Management in managing Syngenta’s digital transformation and driving cultural change in a complex and dynamic environment.

Accountabilities

  • Program Management Support : Help the program manager in setting up governance, reporting, processes and tools. Independently drive parts of the created processes and meetings.
  • Project and KPI tracking and reporting : Independently collect and analyse project status and KPI data to support decision making and develop and maintain project and KPI dashboards
  • Talent : Support the program management, workstreams, and HR in recruiting and team building activities
  • Knowledge Management : Drive the development and improvement of Syngenta Digital’s strategy and innovation methodologies and facilitate knowledge exchange across workstreams
  • Research and analysis : Independently conduct research and analysis tasks in supporting of program leadership or workstreams, including interviewing relevant stakeholders, identifying and analysing relevant sources and presenting findings
  • Special projects : Independently drive special projects as required by the program leadership
  • Support workstreams : As required support delivering work packages as part of the broader Digital priorities, including understanding requirements, structuring the approach and delivering outcomes
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication : Contribute to the development of stakeholder engagement and communication plans and content, and support the program management in the preparation of board presentations
  • Qualifications

    Suitable candidates come from all backgrounds, but to succeed they will need to be intellectually curious, demonstrate an ability to think in a logical and structured way, and be creative in your approach to problem solving. They will have :

  • Minimum 5+ years work experience in a commercial or advisory role
  • Advanced numerical competency and a passion for applying it to solve complex problems
  • An ambition to apply commercial acumen to solve problems
  • A demonstrable passion for digital
  • Willingness to learn and a desire to progress
  • Experience in (agile) project management or PMO roles
  • Additional desirable experience includes :

  • Entrepreneurial background
  • Experience in an international context
  • Industry experience in agribusiness
  • Minimum education and critical knowledge

  • A strong academic record including an undergraduate degree from a top university
  • Additional relevant qualifications (e.g. Masters Degree, MBA) a plus but not mandatory
