This is a great opportunity to join our team that is seeking a like-minded person to coordinate improvement recommendations within our Sensor Solutions Business Unit.
This position will support two sites in our EMEA region located in Bevaix and Pratteln Switzerland. The successful candidate will be based in one of these two sites.
As a member of our Continuous Improvement Team (TEOA) within the Sensor Solutions Business Unit this individual will be responsible for assisting with implementing, coordination, and evaluating practices to eliminate waste, achieve targets, and improve the total enterprise using Lean Manufacturing and technical problem solving methodologies while educating employees and creating a culture of change.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
As a Continuous Improvement Analyst (f / m), a typical day may include :
Supporting the integration of previously unconnected processes (departments) into one interconnected extended value stream as seen from the customer’s perspective
Developing and utilizing current and future state value stream maps to identify strategic projects corresponding 6-month implementation plans
Defining and sharing standardized programs to educate employees in the principles of Lean Manufacturing and Technical Problem Solving
Have the patience, perseverance, and passion to drive the continuous improvement culture across the plant
Facilitate Continuous Improvement events within the plant.
Monitor and report site level measurements and performance to star assessment levels.
Create, plan, lead and follow-up of the TEOA implementation plan and ensure TEOA actions are visual to stakeholders and are driven to a sustainable closure.
Fostering the adoption of continuous improvement as a way of life and communicate with all level
Qualifications include :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
3+ years of professional experience with focus on production, logistics, or engineering and financial knowledge
2 years of experience in leading continuous improvement activities on a site level
Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
Track record of successful project management
Fluent English and good German and French skills
Nice to have :
Lean / Six Sigma Black (preferred) or Green Belt Certification or experience in the manufacturing and assembly industry
A holistic overview of complex situations and deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise
Highly energized and self-motivated personality with experience working with teams to implement a change
