On behalf of one of our clients based in Geneva, we are seeking a Swiss Tax Compliance Specialist who will manage and deliver tax compliance requirements for Swiss companies within the Group, Swiss investment-holding companies and personal tax returns.
Maintain detailed files and spreadsheets to capture, process and report information required for personal tax returns;
Collate and populate detailed financial information throughout the year to manage the annual personal tax returns accurately and efficiently;
Check and manage personal and corporate tax payments, check assessments from tax authorities, liaise with them when necessary;
Review VAT calculations and returns;
Review corporate income tax calculations, tax returns and tax payment schedules;
Holder of a University degree in Tax
Solid knowledge of personal and corporate Swiss taxes including VAT
Previous Swiss Tax experience, managing complex processes
Fluency in English
Keen eye for detail coupled with financial analytical skills
Strong team spirit and experience working in a small team
Can-do attitude with ability to move from detailed analysis to big-picture thinking
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues at all levels and external suppliers / advisers.
Solid IT skills, at ease handling large amounts of data in Excel
Ability to travel from time to time
