The Global Environmental Manager reports into the Global Environmental Management and Health & Safety lead and will be responsible for the oversight and management of Credit Suisse’s ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System globally.

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? We are offering an interesting and demanding position as Global Environmental Manager within our Environmental, Health & Safety department
The opportunity to handle and maintain the ISO 14001 accreditation at an operational level
Together with the Health & Safety team, drive the integration of the Environmental Management and Health & Safety management systems
Responsibility for delivering the global carbon footprint data for in-house operations in auditable quality, which is the basis for CS’s carbon neutrality claim
Responsibility for delivery of regulatory environmental and energy reporting and environmental legal compliance overview
Work with and challenge our outsourcing partners to deliver the environmental and energy efficiency programs in line with Credit Suisse sustainability strategy and continuous improvement
Driving internal stakeholder environmental awareness
Assess new developments and trends in Environmental Management issues that may have application or impact on Credit Suisse.

You Offer :
A bachelor degree in environmental / engineering sciences or equivalent experience
You bring experience of operating at both managerial and operational levels
5+ years of working experience in Environmental Management with ISO 14001 accredited systems
You will also have strong relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail and appreciation of the challenges of working within the finance industry.
Experience with life cycle analysis and carbon accounting for larger companies
Experience in working with outsourced partners
Your strong communication, multi-tasking and time management skills enables you to quickly gain trust and build up solid working relationships
Excellent German and English skills are a must, French and / or Italian skills are desirable
Interest in health and safety is a plus
