The Production Engineer Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting and addressing technical issues as well as developing tools and solutions for process improvement for the preparation, set-up and maintenance of the production environment.
The person fulfilling this role will work in close collaboration with our multi-site Engineering and Testing team, Quality and Logistics department as well as our Contract Manufacturer.
Design and develop tools for automation for yield and process analysis
Perform other general duties such as querying data, linking data to Tibco Spotfire and other tools, general spreadsheet, and presentation of the work
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets that could be valuable for diagnostics and predictive analysis efforts.
Recognize variations / deviations to create value from data
Data mining to understand / demonstrate / measure completion and stimulation performance
Work with multi-site teams to develop, refine and scale data management and analytic procedures, systems, workflows
Your Skills and Experience
Bsc. degree in Math, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
Experience in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Knowledge in data analysis (extracting, correcting, analyzing) by using statistical methods
Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL database systems. Querying data, linking data to other tools
Knowledge in programming languages (Python, R or similar)
Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, and disseminate significant amounts of information (high-volume, high-dimensional big data from varying sources) with attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills
Used to work independently and precisely
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Ability and willingness to travel our contract manufacturers' sites.
Hold a valid work permit for applied location.
