We’re looking for a Regulatory Business Analyst / Project Manager to :
manage and support the delivery of the Financial Service Act (FinSA) within the Investment Bank (IB)
analyse current business and IT processes and formulate change requirements to comply with the new Swiss regulation
partner with experts across the organisation to define and agree target solutions in the most effective and efficient way
support the senior project management with documentation and production of status reports
run sub-projects and business impact assessments from A to Z
develop project plans, track deliverables, manage risks, issues and timelines as well as keep stakeholders up to date
identify opportunities to improve our processes and recommend changes
You’ll be part of the IB FinSA project team based in Opfikon Zurich, reporting to the IB FinSA project lead. The team is part of the IB Strategic Regulatory Initiatives (SRI) organisation and works closely with FinSA project teams in other divisions.
You are :
Proactive in both spotting issues and proposing solutions
An expert at building networks and connections
Known for meeting deadlines and self-sufficient in completing tasks and deliverables
A systematic thinker with strong analytical and conceptual skills
At least 3-4 years of experience in a business analysis or project management role in the investment bank or in regulatory project work within the financial sector
Interest and experience in projects with a strong technology angle
Business level English, German is an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor style to your audience
Able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
