As a Global Account Manager you are responsible to develop a sustainable, profitable, and expanding business relation with one of ON Semiconductor’s global industrial accounts headquartered in Europe .

You drive the regional and world-wide sales and field application engineering teams in customer key locations and align them with your global account business plan.

As an advocate of the customer, you drive the appropriate business units of ON Semiconductor for mid and long-term alignment of product, technology and manufacturing roadmaps.

Within the global account, you develop relationships with customer’s key personnel, including middle and senior managers world-wide, covering R&D, procurement and product line organizations.

You gain understanding of customer’s end markets and products, strategy and organization. By ensuring share of mind for ON Semiconductor throughout customer organizations, you develop strategies and tactics to achieve increased ON Semiconductor market share.

You support the annual contract negotiation process, as well as day to day activities related to customer RFQs. You provide quarterly sales forecast and monitor progress in Booking / Billing / Backlog and take all necessary actions to close potential gaps.

Regular reviews with the Global Account are held to ensure ON Semiconductor and the customer remain strategically aligned to execute the account business plan and tactical action plan.

You identify competition behavior in the account base and identify and execute strategic plans to counter competition.


  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • 5-7 years sales experience forOEM
  • Ability to act as a business person
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good priorities management skills
  • Good knowledge of ON Semiconductor products (training provided)
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills at all levels of the customer organization
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Frequent regional and international travel (40% on average)
  • Excellent English and German skills
  • Interesting profiles include people with experience in account management or product marketing.
