Universitäres Tierspital, Vetsuisse-Fakultät, Zoo-, Heim- und Wildtiere 4-year Residency-Position in Zoological Medicine 100 % The Clinic for Zoo Animals, Exotic Pets and Wildlife of the Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Zurich offers a fulltime position (Starting April 2023).

Candidates interested to pursue a residency program of the American College of Zoological Medicine (ACZM) are advised to visit the corresponding website (see link on our website) as well as our own residency description on the webpage, and address the prerequisites for a residency program and admission to the board exam in their cover letter.

Your responsibilities The position includes veterinary practice in exotic pets, wildlife, and zoo animals; active participation in research and the clinic's continuing education programme will be requested.

Your profile For the position, a completed veterinary education as well as fluency in spoken German is required. Fluency in English is expected.

A 12-month internship in domestic animals is an advantage, as well as documented interest in zoo and exotic pet medicine and practical veterinary experience.
