iptiQ goal is to become # 1 primary B2B Property and Casualty insurer globally as well as the thought leader for digital insurance services.

A large part of the iptiQ focus is on transforming claims service, basically make a wrong situation right again with the help of our intelligent digital tools.

We aim to provide a fully integrated digital claims handling and repair experience connecting all stakeholders whilst keeping the claimant at the centre of all.

We are looking for an experienced insurance professional with experience in best in class Property and Casualty operators mainly in Europe / USA to join us.

As your Business Process and Network innovator, you will join our claims team and have the opportunity to share the future of the B2B business by transforming ideas and user needs into requirements for our platform.

You will work in close collaboration with our Product Owners across the E2E journey of a Policyholder / Claimant.

Your responsibilities :

  • Propose, design, and implement new digital processes and tools to improve the claims journey for all stakeholders involved,
  • Translate claims need into business processes and user requirements,
  • Work closely with Product Owner to ensure Insurance specific needs are well understood,
  • Be part of the priority setting process for claims,
  • Active in UAT testing
  • Your expected experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the P&C Consumer Claims business
  • Claims handling best practise in Household and Motor as established at a large European / US P&C multi-line insurer,
  • Risk Transfer from a practical implementation including an understanding of the mechanics,
  • Experienced with different product models and have an understanding of different European geographies regulatory set-up,
  • A clear understanding of technical accounting for insurance premiums, claims, commissions, taxes etc.
  • Deep insurance claims knowledge in at least 2 out of the following countries : Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands,
  • Process innovation and redesign experience
  • To be successful at this role, it is important that you have relevant insurance experience with a minimum of 5 years combined with Agile working methods.

    You will work in a team with more than 90 years of insurance claims experience where we are eager to transform and digitalize the claims experience to above and beyond todays' standards.

    You will be reporting to Head of Claims in Zurich and the position is also located at our HQ in Zurich.
