Senior Private Banker South Africa

Executive Partners Ltd is a Swiss Recruiting company based in Geneva. We take pride in supporting our clients to attract, develop, and retain the most talented private banker and traders in Switzerland.

This role is for a prestigious Swiss Bank looking to expand their team in Geneva with market coverage focused on the South Africa market

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Responsible for managing and developing a private client portfolio consisting of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals originating from the South Africa market

Developing and sustaining relationships in the region with frequent traveling to prospect new business and meet clients

Advising clients on portfolio management, asset allocation, and other traditional and alternative investments

Working closely with investment advisory, compliance, and execution teams

Role reports to the Managing Director

Key Qualifications / Experience

Proven track record of a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in client acquisition and management of wealth for clients

Continuous professional career development in a prestigious bank

Excellent relationships with HNW and UHNW clients in the South Africa market

Outstanding network in the private banking industry to support our growth strategy and to push the development agenda for revenue, NNA

Currently managing a portfolio of at least CHF 200m

Skills to acquire HNW and UHNW clients through referrals, own network by actively approaching potential clients

Excellent track record of revenue generation (ROA) and asset acquisition (NNM)

A team player with the highest professional work ethic and standards who is decisive, innovative and able to cope under pressure

High level of professional and personal integrity and compliance standards ensuring all work activities are performed in-line with internal and external guidelines and regulatory policies

MBA or degree from a university or an institute of higher education

Fluent in English, Afrikaans, and Hindi as an additional asset

Located in Geneva
