A senior IT engineering position in the bank’s central financial messaging team. We are responsible for architecting, engineering and supporting the bank’s major electronic channels to the global financial services market.
Our team is a key enabler for the bank’s operations function and is servicing divisions and branches across the world.
An opportunity to own and develop highly resilient and performing financial messaging services putting the bank into a position to access counterparties and financial market infrastructures on a 24 / 7 basis.
You will closely work with internal IT infrastructure providers and external software vendors on negotiating, agreeing on and implementing solutions.
You will be the accountable IT owner of those solutions and be part of their 3rd line support team.

You have a degree in computer science or an equivalent education and 5+ years of professional experience in your areas of expertise.
Especially, you have a validated foundation in one or more of the following areas : SWIFT, SIC / SECOM or Continuous Linked Settlement protocols and services;
Financial messaging software vendor products (e.g. SWIFT Alliance Suite); Maintenance of Hardware Security Modules and managing certificates;
OS scripting and deployment of application components (UNIX, RedHat Linux)
Skills specific to the financial messaging domain are considered to be an asset, e.g. IP Networking knowhow (esp. around DMZ network architectures);
Relational database technology (Oracle, Oracle RAC); DevOps tools and toolchains (UNIX, RedHat Linux)
You are a creative problem solver with a distinct can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership. You are passionate about team collaboration to master a challenge.
You are a positive and communicative personality that values transparency and is able to clearly articulate your thoughts to diverse stakeholder groups.
You are comfortable collaborating with external software vendors and use your consultancy skills to negotiate and align expectations.
